Families for Better Recalls is working to prevent needless injuries like the one suffered by Corey Burdick by advocating for reforms to the broken and outdated recall system.

The recall system was developed decades ago and has never been updated to account for modern technological advances.

As a result, too many consumers are unaware that they are driving in vehicles that have been recalled due to dangerous defects.
